Actually, this song is express Seiya's feeling to Usagi. It's tells about how Seiya love Usagi but it just unrequited love because Usagi has Mamoru. Todokanu Omoi means My Friend's Love. It's really Seiya....

Well, I felt in love with Seiya caracter although Naoko doesn't mention clearly Seiya male or female. He become female when he transform in to Sailor Star Fighter. But when he disguise as a human civillan he become male, a little bit complicated. However... I love Seiya in male body and I hope that he is really male. I love him because he's funny and expressive. He also a gentleman because he love Usagi with all his heart and protect her although he knew that Usagi has Mamoru. And he not try to take Usagi from Mamoru, he just love her in his own way although he wish that he can meet Usagi earier.
Oh... I hope I can find a guy like Seiya...
